Everybody can provide what we like to call Soulful Service. With a foundational attitude of kindness, generosity, and a willingness to learn, it merely takes imagination and dedication to give your guests the kind of service they will remember you by.

Participants of this class are individuals who wish to either enter the field of Hospitality altogether and/or would like to upgrade their skills by tapping into inspiration, insights and information on how to provide the kind of service our guests expect of us today.

THE SUNNY-SIDE UP in Practice!

1. Restaurant Service

In 12 easy modules, participants can learn, and practice these skills:

  • Hygiene Basics in the Restaurant
  • Carry a plate, carry 3 plates
  • Carry a tray, serve from a tray
  • Handle glassware and silverware
  • Fold a napkin, set a table
  • Serve a plate, clear a plate
  • (we have already learned how to communicate with the guest in The pure Sunny Side Up!)
  • Talking about our offerings to the guest
  • Do’s and Don’ts around a guest

2. Housekeeping

In 12 easy modules, participants can learn, and practice these skills:

  • How to organize myself when cleaning a room
  • Make a bed
  • Clean a window
  • What to dust
  • To tidy or not to tidy?
  • Clean a sink, a shower, a toilet
  • (we have already learned how to communicate with the guest in The pure Sunny Side Up!)
  • How to interact with a guest in the room
  • Stay room / Check out room / Turn-down
  • Do’s and Don’ts in a guest room
